high 81 today

Wow, today's high is 81 degrees. Summertime, and the living is easy  pretty hard actually. This weather does undoubtedly make me think of that time of season. Anyone wanna play some catch?

It was a spring-like day today. Low 70's. Unbelievable.
I think I got a slight tan during baseball practice. (^-^)v

One Year Later

A year has passed since the devastating earthquake/tsunami had struck the Tohoku region of Japan. Let us all pray for those who have lost their lives, and may hope lay upon each and every surviving individual.

To mark its first anniversary, show your support by wearing any Japan t-shirt, pin, scarf, anything that might show your love towards the victims. Listen to a Japanese song, treat yourself to a Japanese dish, dedicate a part of your day for Japan for you will help yourself, and most importantly others abroad.

東北に起こった地震。あれから１年すぎました。家や恋人や家族が全部世界から消えてしまった人達の為に、そして死んだ人達にも、祈りをしましょう。これからも前を向いて、明るい未来を期待する事。

Madama Butterfly

Yesterday I went to see Puccini's Madama Butterfly.
Such a romantic, yet sad story about love, hate, and remorse. A great opera. Beautiful theater.
