Murakami's 1Q84

A brilliant read from start to finish. Murakami's massive novel 1Q84 is a riveting, haunting novel on the perplexities of love and longing. We humans, at some point in our lives, undoubtedly miss a significant other that we have not seen for a long, long time. And as we do not see that significant other, we start to unconsciously fall into a world contrary to reality and can do nothing but hope and long to see that person. At the same time, it is important that the person who is being missed also longs for that person. Until those two bond again, be it years or decades, they will never be able to transcend back to reality.

Thus is my vague concept of 1Q84. Aomame and Tengo.

Honestly it took me about a year and a few months to read the whole entire novel because of school and all. A good read.
