Just like that the temperature rises to 70F and so many students are lolling on the green and chilling on the benches. What was once a deserted campus is now lively and occupied. I never knew there were this many students on campus. Since when did this happen? lol
Yet then again, there are some people I barely know who have left this campus to pursue something else in their lives. Who knows what they will do. They come and go, like the girl I once went out with last November. See her nowhere in this campus no matter where I go. She disappeared like steam billowing in the air. I left one world and entered another. Just like that. And time, in the meantime, progresses endlessly.
Sometimes it's all about timing, speaking of time. The miraculous happens when we bump into those we have been interested in seeing. Whether it be old friends or cute girls you have only briefly talked to once. As a matter of fact, timing is everything. We are invaded by time. From the tick of the clock to the tap of the fingers when playing a Steinway and Sons. And that's when you know that you are in a small world. If you put it this way, the world revolves around time. It's all a matter of time. There are trends we all either pick up on or not. It's all a matter of time that it becomes obsolete or out of fashion or die. Mess up on a step when sparring in Tae Kwon Do and your opponent sees the opening to score a point. Had you left a little earlier from work you wouldn't get caught in a traffic jam during rush hour. Eat a little later and you wouldn't get hungry in the hushed AM hours.
"I heard the weather is going to drop down to the 50s by the end of the week," a friend said.
"The weather is a tease," I said.
"Exactly," he nodded.
"Cease the moment. This warm weather is only here for a couple of days then."
"It's all about the time," he said.
I nodded.
