Baseball in our dreams

Today was our last baseball game. If we would've won today, we would've made it to the playoffs; however, it didn't turn out to be the way we planned. I mean... the thing is... we haven't really practice AT ALL this whole season. This was a terrible, unorganized baseball season.
You may have heard the motto: "no pain, no gain". This fits exactly into our situation. We haven't experienced any "pain" whatsoever. We canceled practices at least 3 times during the season because 4 people showed up. So? We can practice with 4 people! Who cares if we only got 4? We could still improve our game! If we cancel practice like this, it wastes our time. This means we don't have any confidence in ourselves and will never be able to "gain". Playoffs? Championships? pshh, please. It's impossible if we keep practicing like this. It's not even practice.. it's a total waste of time.
Furthermore, we haven't even started batting practices until the day before our first game! Last year, we went to the cages once a week. This year, we haven't even done anything but sit on the gym and lay down on the bleachers. Don't even get me started on the players. There's nothing wrong with them... it's just that the positions we play are so disorganized and mixed up. The coach assigned players positions in the last minute when they haven't played/practiced in that position at all. That's why we keep making careless errors during the game and slack off big time. That's how we forfeited so many times! This ain't baseball.
The coach needs to realize this significant issue in our team in which we have the potential to improve. With these SIGNIFICANT changes and if we organized the team, we can start to step up our game and aim towards victory; however, at the stage we're at now, it is nearly impossible. But we could improve. I see it. I feel it. We just need to push ourselves more and know who we are. Repetition is key in baseball. We're doing the complete opposite. C'mon guys. We got this.
